Christmas decorations made of plaster, start on time!
Casting plaster
The pouring plaster powder is ideal in combination with detailed silicone molds.
The powder is odorless and non-toxic and easy to mix with water to a good pouring thickness.
Mixing ratio 1 part water to 3 parts plasterpowder.
Stir the mixture well.
Preparation time: about 10 minutes
Waiting/Drying time: 30-40 minutes
Don't throw leftovers in the sink afterwards !!
Use a brush to spread the stirred mass onto the sides of the mold so that no bubbles form.
Then immediately fill the mold and shake the mass back and forth to make a smooth surface.
If you want to integrate this into the end result, press a stick or hook into the mass.
After drying, the plaster can be perfectly decorated with acrylic paint.

Christmas jar
Wrap a plasterwrap around the jam jar.
Let dry and if you like, you can paint it if color is desired.
Prepare the casting plaster and pour it into the gnome mold.
Paint the gnome with acrylic paint, dilute the paint with some water or flow medium.
Finally, stick the scene to the pot with a glue gun.
For decoration you can paint branches from the forest with white paint, add some moss and apply snow dots with VIVA Eis-Effect.
